Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s installment of Tom’s Top 3 Tuesdays, where I highlight three pieces of content (Podcasts/Shows/Songs/Articles/etc.) that I found interesting or noteworthy from the prior week.
This one will be quick. I’ve got a plane to catch, and packing has taken much more time than expected. I apologize.
Good thing is, this week’s three sort of speak for themselves.
[Movie] The Amateur
Very cool spy movie. I really like Rami Malek, but you don’t usually associate him with action. I watched an interview where he said that he specifically sought out an action film after his Oscar-winning performance in Bohemian Rhapsody. I gotta say, I think he pulled it off.
[TV Show] The Studio
Admittedly, I’ve only watched the first episode so far, but I have been looking forward to this show for some time.
While I can’t speak to the entire series, the first episode did enough to coax me to come back. The cast is insane, with Seth Rogan, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O’Hara. There are also so many great cameos in the first episode, but I don’t want to spoil anything.
[YouTube] ESPN - MASTERS FINAL ROUND RECAP
I was traveling last weekend, so I was able to tune into the whole Masters tournament. This recap does a great job of combining the highlights with commentary on the historical significance of Rory’s performance.
Whether you’re a golf fan or not, the final round was such an up-and-down emotional roller coaster, it could have been a movie.
That wraps up this edition of Tom’s Top 3 Tuesdays. If you made it to this point, please drop a 1️⃣, 2️⃣, or 3️⃣ in the comments to let me know what you found most interesting/useful. And as always, please like and consider sharing with a friend who you think would enjoy! I’ll be back next week. ✌️
