Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s installment of Tom’s Top 3 Tuesdays, where I highlight three pieces of content (Podcasts/Shows/Songs/Articles/etc.) that I found interesting or noteworthy from the prior week.
On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me:
one like and share (I’m looking at you). 😘
[YouTube] jenkemmag - Hanging Out With Andrew Huberman, Skateboarder Turned Neuroscientist
Andrew Huberman is a neuroscience professor at Stanford, and he has gained popularity in recent years with his highly successful podcast, Huberman Lab.
On his podcast, Huberman is rather open about his past as a troubled youth. He struggled in school and frequently got in fights. He credits the skateboarding community with accepting him and supporting him during this tough time.
Most of his content revolves around sharing “science based tools for everyday life.” This video, on the other hand, goes behind the scenes. We get to see what he is like off the podcast.
Seems like a pretty cool dude. He can even shoot arrows like the legendary Robin Hood: Men in Tights !!!

Alaska Airlines just announced today that they will be launching a premium credit card in Summer 2025.
Alaska already has a personal credit card, but this would be a step up. It’s also rumored to come along with a heftier $395 annual fee.
The highlights include:
3x miles on foreign purchases and dining
accelerated path to status
some degree of lounge access
Global Companion Award Certificates
I’ll have to see more of the details once it comes out before I decide to cop or not, but I’m definitely intrigued.
Right now, you could get 500 free miles for just signing up to receive more information using the link above before the end of the year. And if you end up getting the card when it comes out, you will get an additional 5,000 miles on top of whatever sign up bonus comes with the card.
[YouTube] Michael Heagle - Napoleon Dynamite: behind the scenes of “Chatting Online with Babes All Day” (2004)
I love so much about this video.
One of my favorite films. An iconic scene. The early 2000’s personal video aesthetic.
Most of all, I love how much fun everyone seems to be having.
Through this sneak peak into production, we get to see everyone feeding off of the energy. We get to see the wonderful collaboration between the director and the actors. We get to see the laughter after the scene finishes and everyone realizes they are sitting on gold.
But maybe they didn’t realize it was gold. For such an offbeat film, who knew that it would become a cult classic. They were just having fun and making the movie they wanted to make.
And I love it.

That wraps up this edition of Tom’s Top 3 Tuesdays. If you made it to this point, please drop a 1️⃣, 2️⃣, or 3️⃣ in the comments to let me know what you found most interesting/useful. And as always, please like and consider sharing with a friend who you think would enjoy! I’ll be back next week. ✌️
