[YouTube] Frequent Miler - How to apply for the Strata Elite 100,000 point offer
So as an update from last week’s post, the Citi Strata Elite card did finally drop… to mixed reviews. All of the “leaked” details turned out to be true, so my recommendation remains the same.
However, we also got confirmation that Citi is now the exclusive transfer partner of American Airlines. This is the main draw of the Citi cards for me now. Since you can pool points between multiple Citi cards, I think pairing a Strata card with some Custom Cash cards is a good strategy.
The public sign up offer is 80K points, but there are reports that you can get a 100K offer by signing up in branch. This video details how.
Lyft has some partners where you can get additional points for riding. These partners include Hilton, Bilt, and Alaska Airlines.
Lyft recently increased their earning rate for Alaska up to 3x points. All you have to do is activate this by going to your account page in Lyft, clicking on the “Rewards” tab, and then managing your choice of partner from there.
You can also double dip by paying with a card that gives you extra points for Lyft. The Chase Sapphire cards earn 5x, the Bilt card earns 3x, and the Chase Freedom cards earn 2x.
[YouTube] MLB - FULL SPEECH: Ichiro Suzuki is inducted into the Hall of Fame
Growing up in the 2000s, Ichiro was an everpresent force in the MLB. Without fail, someone would impersonate his iconic stance and swing during whiffle ball.
Not only was his Hall of Fame speech touching, but it was incredibly funny. I honestly didn’t know Ichiro had that in him.
[YouTube] MLB - Remembering Cubs legend and Baseball Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg (1959-2025)
RIP to a legend.
