Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s installment of Tom’s Top 3 Tuesdays, where I highlight three pieces of content (Podcasts/Shows/Songs/Articles/etc.) that I found interesting or noteworthy from the prior week.
Please toss me a like and share this with as many people as you can!!! Whoever you think might find this newsletter informative, entertaining, funny, idc—just drop them a link. It really helps grow the newsletter, so I greatly appreciate the support!
I took last week off with the holiday. I know, I’m sorry I didn’t give you advance notice. To make it up to you, I’m doubling up this week—here is my Top 6.
[YouTube] Solid Brix Studios - The LEGO Death Star Interview | $1,000 Set Explained
Lego recently released the highly anticipated Ultimate Collector Series Death Star, Lego Star Wars’ first $1,000 set.
This set is being hotly debated in the Lego community. Fans can look past the price tag, but many people hate the decision to go with a “slice” of the Death Star rather than the spherical shape everyone is accustomed to.
Honestly, I think it’s awesome. I am a big fan of the diorama line of Lego SW sets, and this is essentially like 20 diorama’s all in one view. I’ve never seen any other set like this, so I commend the Lego team for taking a risk with this design.
Do I think the minifigures could be better and there should be wayyy less stickers? Sure. But I probably wasn’t ever going to drop a rack on this set anyway, so my opinion doesn’t really matter.

If you want to see an in-depth review of this set that shows all of the rooms and features, feel free to check out this other Solid Brix video (I highly suggest, but it’s like 50 min long).
[YouTube] Five Lonely Clones - LEGO Star Wars 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker Revealed!
More Lego SW news! I love all of these holiday sets, but I don’t own any of them. Might have to spring for this one, the gingerbread Vader is worth it alone.
[YouTube] Warner Bros. Entertainment - Sinners | Michael Becoming the Smokestack Twins
Y’all are probably so sick of me posting about Sinners, but frankly I don’t give a damn.
This movie rocks. Still my favorite movie of 2025, and it’s not even close.
I came across this video, and it gave me even more appreciation for Michael B. Jordan’s performance and all of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making his twin portrayal believable.
From costume design to visual effect magic, the creativity and attention to detail is impressive and inspiring.
[Movie] Sony Pictures - Caught Stealing
Honestly, I don’t know why I shared the trailer, because it didn’t really do much for me. But I kept hearing it was pretty good, so I went to see it last weekend.
It was a lot better than I had thought. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, ammi right???
The cast is great, the writing is unpredictable, and there’s even a semi-forced baseball connection. Count me in!
If I had a nickel for every time someone said “Go Giants” in this movie, I’d have like 80 cents…
[Podcast] The Peter Attia Drive - Skincare strategies, the science of facial aging, and cosmetic-intervention guidance
No, I am not planning on getting plastic surgery…
I wanted to share this episode because there is a specific section in it, around the 01:23:31 mark, that talks about an optimal routine for skin health.
If you’re like me, then you maybe know that skincare is important, but you have no idea where to start. You go to the store and there are hundreds of ointments, wipes, and cleansers lining the wall. It can be quite overwhelming.
I found this routine to be rather straight forward, so I wanted to share with you all. If you want to check out the rest of the episode, great, but it is very long.
Here’s the routine:
Morning
Glycerin-based cleanser (non-foaming)
Antioxidant serum (like Vitamin C)
Sunscreen
Night
Glycerin-based cleanser
Antioxidant serum
Retinol
Moisturizer
[YouTube] Isaac Punts - Why 99% Of People Watch Football Wrong
With football back, this video is timely. It argues that by watching football the typical way, focusing on the quarterback, we miss out on some more exciting action and matchups that happens “off-the-ball.”
Hey, maybe you’ll find it interesting, maybe not.
That wraps up this edition of Tom’s Top 3 Tuesdays. If you made it to this point, please drop a 1️⃣, 2️⃣, or 3️⃣ in the comments to let me know what you found most interesting/useful. And as always, please like and consider sharing with a friend who you think would enjoy! I’ll be back next week. ✌️
